Because of the trust and openness that tantric massage requires, it is very important that the giver of the massage is someone that the receiver absolutely trusts and is comfortable with. This is why tantric massage is often done between lovers to enhance the sexual experience.

* Tantric massage, just like any form of massage, has physical health benefits and the receiver can derive tremendous sensual pleasure from it. During the massage body to body contact arise pleasure.

4) Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. The massage therapist uses slower strokes or friction techniques across the grain of the muscle.
Deep tissue massage is used for chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or recovery from injury. People often feel sore for one to two days after deep tissue massage.I combine that touches on back massage for special points.

5) Thai Massage

Like shiatsu, Thai massage aligns the energies of the body using gentle pressure on specific points. Thai massage also includes compressions and stretches.You don't just lie there--the therapist moves and stretches you into a sequence of postures. It's like yoga without doing any work. Thai massage is more energizing than other forms of massage. It is also reduces stress and improves flexibility and range of motion. 6) Reflexology

Although reflexology is sometimes called foot massage, it is more than simple foot massage.Reflexology involves applying pressure to certain points on the foot that correspond to organs and systems in the body. 7) Sports Massage

Sports massage is specifically designed for people who are involved in physical activity. But you don't have to be a professional athlete to have one-it's also used by people who are active and work out often. The focus isn't on relaxation but on preventing and treating injury and enhancing athletic performance.A combination of techniques are used. The strokes are generally faster than Swedish massage. Facilitated stretching is a common technique. It helps to loosen muscles and increase flexibility.

8) Back Massage

Some massage clinics and spas offer 30-minute back massages. If a back massage is not expressly advertised, you can also book a 30- or 40-minute massage and ask that the massage therapist to focus on your back. Massage for Neck and Back Pain can be done anytime you wish.

9) Traditional Turkish Bath ( Hamam )

The Turkish bath ( hamam ) culture date back when the Turks arrived in Anatolia. They brought cleaning and bathing tradition with them. They show the respect for uses of water. Europeans learnt the Turkish bath culture from Ottomans with amazing architecture. The kind of steam bath was serving as places of social gathering. Women who used to come together there with food were singing songs and dance.
Currently, Turkish baths are used for relaxing, getting rubbed by rubber and massage.

Basicly, you are having physical peeling and foam massage there. Hamam degree is between 45-55 celcius so keep in mind to drink water regularly. In Istanbul men and women get services by devided places. No private rooms in Hamams do not compare with European style saunas also you should not expect any erotic massage in hamam unlike Thai baths...

Although, some people appreciate that service most of tourists think the service is very fast and not truely care. All service are given there totally therapeutic traditional Turkish style. Massage kinds in Turkish baths are not similar to European style manipulations can be more pressure than you want. I recommend Turkish bath for seeing architecture and trying basic service. It is relaxing yet the pressure is firm, and there is usually no soreness afterwards.

12) Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese system of energy healing. It is based on the idea that pain & dis-ease are caused by an imbalance and/or shortage of Life Energy (Chi or Ki) in the physical body. In this technique, the therapist uses & transmits the Life Energy (electro-magnetic field) to facilitate healing. Reiki energy readjusts the electromagnetic fields to normal frequencies, restoring balance. The therapist places both hands gently in specific positions, either on or above the body. An ancient Chinese finger point massage designed to release muscle tension and promote healing by applying pressure along vital energy points in order to improve energy flow.Provided from some Chinese people individually in Istanbul.

15) Acupuncture

Acupuncture is internationally recognized and respected as a powerful healing technique. It is part of a complete system of medicine which has been practiced in China for many thousands of years. It consists of inserting very fine needles into the skin at certain points along the meridians (energy channels) in order to correct energy imbalances within the body, which can lead to disease or discomfort.

16) Tui Na

Its invigorating and re-energising method releases blocked energy and restores a balanced flow throughout the body promoting health and preventing disease. Treatment is given through clothes as the technique does not use oils and may take place seated or lying on a massage table. Various techniques such as squeezing, pulling, grabbing, kneading and stroking have been developed for certain conditions and all aim to relax the muscles, ease chronic pain and promote Qi flow. These soft tissue massage techniques lead on to certain joint manipulations which involve types of arm and leg shakes, extensions and rotations that complement the overall treatment.
